LEXINGTON (AP) - Police have arrested a fifth person in connection with the July shooting death of a Lincoln County man.
Cincinnati police arrested 22-year-old William Douglas Doty III Jan. 11. Doty has been charged with murder and first-degree robbery in the death of 39-year-old John A. Laswell. Laswell was found shot to death in his wife's car on July 10 outside a Lexington apartment complex.
Doty is in the Hamilton County jail in Ohio and will be transferred to the Fayette County jail once extradition arrangements are complete, according to a release from Lexington police.
Four others have been charged in the case. Arthur Eugene Roberts, 26, is charged with murder and first-degree robbery. Marcus William Lewis, 18, is charged with murder, first-degree robbery and tampering with physical evidence. Tyronda Guyetta Moberly, 24, is charged with tampering with physical evidence. Ostaohanmwen Ahanuwa Ighodaro, 24, has been charged with complicity.
