probe forgery cases
HARRODSBURG - Police Detective Bobby Durham is investigating at least five cases of check forgery. Four alleged forged checks were passed at Gateway of Harrodsburg and a fifth at Wal-Mart in Harrodsburg.
Checks ranging in amounts from $38.71 to $426.56 were written on three different bank accounts between Dec. 26 and Jan. 5. The complaints were received Monday, according to a Harrodsburg Police Department press release. The investigations are ongoing.
HARRODSBURG - Local police are investigating the theft of a prescription medication, food and clothing that occurred around Jan. 14. Kimberly D. Shouse, 29, of 108 Ewing Ave., reported to police on Jan. 15 that someone took from her home several items of clothing, food and a bottle of prescription medication.
