A 16-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene Friday night after his vehicle overturned after running off Louisville Road in Salvisa.
According to State Police, Nicholas P. Beasley, 16, 1061 Indian Trail, Lawrenceburg, lost control of his 1996 Chevy Beretta before leaving the left side of the road, striking a culvert that caused the vehicle to flip. The Beretta struck two trees and a fence before coming to a stop.
Beasley was extracted from the vehicle by Salvisa Fire Department. He was pronounced dead from head trauma by a Mercer County Deputy Coroner.
