Open house set

Danville High School will have a winter open house 6:30 p.m. Monday in William Gravely Auditorium.

Boyle Fiscal Court - 7 p.m. Tuesday in the fiscal courtroom. Agenda items include a report on the rural secondary road program, EMS medical claims agreement and report, sheriff's quarterly report, and an agreement for tire amnesty day.

Danville City Commission - 5:30 p.m. Monday at city hall. The agenda includes proclamations for the Danville and Boyle County state football championship teams, appointment to the Convention and Visitors Committee, federal transportation grant application, Renaissance modification agreement, Homeland Security update, hotel tax request, medical advisory request, second reading of Bill Fowler zone change amendment, and executive session on personnel, litigation and property acquisition.


Junction City Council - 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.

KSD Facilities Committee - 10 a.m. Tuesday at Kentucky School for the Deaf. This committee is charged with designing a facility use plan for the school.

Casey County Board of Education - 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the administrative offices on U.S. 127 North. The facilities plan committee will discuss an amendment to the plan. A public forum will be held at 6:30 p.m.

Harrodsburg and Mercer County Contractors and Builders - 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall. Bill Durham, building inspector, will lead a discussion. Use the side door to get to the upstairs meeting room.|1/23/04***
