State police executed a search warrant Sunday at a suspended Boyle County Middle School teacher's home, removing a computer and related equipment for examination, according to Commonwealth's Attorney Richard Bottoms.
The teacher was placed on administrative leave Thursday after police began investigating an alleged videotaping incident at the middle school earlier in the week. At least two female students at the school reported to administrators they were videotaped while changing clothes in preparation for a photography class.
No charges have been filed in the incident, and Bottoms said it would take time to examine the evidence.
"Unless something out of the ordinary occurs in the course of the investigation, the state police told me they would wait until all the investigation is completed before filing charges, if they are warranted," said Bottoms. "The investigation will now turn to examining all the evidence that has been gathered."
