PERRYVILLE - Mary Hagan, 56, of Third Street, died Tuesday at her home. She was the wife of William Hagan. Arrangements are incomplete at Wilder Funeral Home.

Gerald Young

PERRYVILLE - Gerald Young, 52, of Hays-Mayes Road, died Tuesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Debbie Cooley Young. Arrangements are incomplete at Wilder Funeral Home.

Joe P. Brown

WAYNESBURG - Joe P. Brown, 90, of Indianapolis, formerly of Lincoln County, died today in Indianapolis. Arrangements are incomplete at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home.


Hubert B. Cornett

LIBERTY - Hubert B. Cornett, 87, of Liberty, died Monday at his home.

Born May 27, 1916, in Perry County, he was the son of the late J.D. and Rachel Ison Cornett. He was a merchant and farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Cathryn Vaden Cornett; and a son, Mike Cornett of Liberty.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Martha F. Peavler

HARRODSBURG - Martha Fields Peavler, 83, of Harrodsburg, widow of Lee Andrew Peavler, died Monday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. Arrangements are incomplete at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

Stanley B. VanDyke

HARRODSBURG - Stanley B. VanDyke, 86, of Harrodsburg Health Care Center, died Tuesday in Harrodsburg.

Born Jan. 30, 1917, in McAfee, he was the son of the late Dan T. and Lena May Lay VanDyke. He was a retired horse trainer for S.E. Falls Stables, formerly on Cornishville Street. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and First Baptist Church.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Parks Funeral Home by the Rev. Daniel Childs. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Visitation is 10 a.m. Friday until time of service.
