Benefit, auction to help family
LIBERTY - A benefit supper and auction is scheduled Friday night to raise funds for a Casey County girl, who has suffered for four years from the eating disorder anorexia nervosa and is undergoing treatment in St. Louis, Mo.
The benefit will help with expenses for Kristin Weddle, 15-year-old daughter of Chris and Connie Weddle of the Walnut Hill community.
The chili supper will be 5-7 p.m. at the Casey County High School cafeteria. The auction is scheduled at 7 p.m. Admission is $5. The Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church, where the family attends, will sponsor the supper and auction.
