Charles M. Aldridge

HARRODSBURG - Charles Mason Aldridge, 76, of College Manor, died Thursday at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

Born April 19, 1927, in Garrard County, he was the son of the late Charlie B. and Mary Sutton Aldridge. He was an Army veteran of World War II, an assistant superintendent for Kentucky Utilities at the E.W. Brown Generating Station in Mercer County, a member of Mercer Masonic Lodge 777 F&AM, and a member, Sunday school teacher, and deacon of Harrodsburg Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Florence Aldridge; two daughters, Pam Koerner of Dayton, Ohio, and Jane Bridgewater of Conyers, Ga.; a sister, Jesse Mae Gibson of Olathe, Kan.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Robert DeFoor. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.


Pallbearers will be David Travis, Frank and John Penn, Ron Crigger, Jeff Florence and Ed Cigallio.

Honorary pallbearers are Jim Gash, James Fitzgerald, Larry Morris, Ron Leach, Paul Hanks, Harrodsburg Baptist Church deacons and members of the Faith, Hope and Love Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Saturday and after 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

Memorials may go to Harrodsburg Baptist Church Life Center, 312 S. Main St., Harrodsburg.

Lambert Dossett

HARRODSBURG - Lambert Dossett, 94, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Thursday at Helmwood Health Care Center in Elizabethtown.

Born April 16, 1909, in Webster County, he was the son of the late John T. and Roxie Stellner Hays Dossett. He was an employee of Elwood Burgin Construction Co., a member of Calvary Baptist Church and active in Mercer County Senior Citizens.

Survivors include four sons, James C. Dossett of Loxahachee, Fla., Carl Dossett of Bardstown, J.T. Dossett of Warsaw, and Harold Dossett of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; five daughters, Alma R. Huffman of Elizabethtown, Roxie E. Pike of Frankfort, Mary Owens of Danville, Martha Lamb of Stanford and Patricia Price of Harrodsburg; 18 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by Stephen Ramsey. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Todd, Nathan, Aaron and Lee Dossett, James Price and David Drobney Jr.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and after 7 a.m. Saturday.

William Hadley

HARRODSBURG - William "Bill" Hadley, 63, of Virginia Avenue, husband of Loretta Hadley, died Friday at his home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.

Katie L. Milton

HARRODSBURG - Katie Lee Milton, 85, formerly of Mackville, died Thursday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 9, 1918, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Addie Bruner Hendren. She retired after many years as a cook and custodian at Mackville School and was a member of Mackville Christian Church. She was the widow of Henry R. Milton.

Survivors include a son, Robert D. Milton of Ashland; two daughters, Pat Kolasa Goodlett of Burgin and Elaine Reid Hendren, both of Nicholasville; three brothers, Gene Hendren and Reid Hendren, both of Harrodsburg, and Ray Hendren of Mackville; a sister, Mayme Baber of Harrodsburg; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Peters Cemetery in Mackville.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Saturday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home and 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday.

Neil Price

LIBERTY - Neil Price, 77, of Phillips Street, died Wednesday at his home.

Born Sept. 17, 1927, in Alabama, he was the son of the late Dan and Nettie Young Price. He was retired from General Electric in Cincinnati and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a son, Dennis Price of Akron, Ohio; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a caregiver, Beverly Long of Liberty.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Donald Matthews. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery with military rites by Casey County Funeral Squad.

Krista Propes

LIBERTY - Krista Cheyenne Emerson Propes died Thursday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.

Born Tuesday, she was the daughter of Michael and Casey Emerson Propes of Liberty. Grandparents are Beth Propes, John and Sue Propes, and Donna Lane, all of Liberty.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Jim Savage. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Saturday and after 8 a.m. Sunday.

Betty J. Russell

BENTON - Betty Jean Russell, 71, of Benton, died Tuesday at Marshall County Hospital.

She was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
