Federal marshals worked with Boyle County deputies Wednesday to arrest a Fayette County fugitive in Danville.
Andra Leon Clay, 32, of Lexington, was wanted on charges of rape, sodomy, terroristic threatening, wanton endangerment, probation violation and violation of an emergency protective order, according to Boyle deputy Brian Wofford.
"We were called by the U.S. Marshal's office (Wednesday) morning that they had reason to believe this fugitive was hiding in Danville," said Wofford. "Chief Detective Marty Elliott and myself met two of the marshals in Danville, and we located the individual at Wendy's at 2:30 p.m."
Wofford said Clay was using the pay phone at Wendy's on Hustonville Road when spotted by the officers, and he was taken into custody without incident.
