I would like to say, first of all, how sweet the letter was about forcing Hustonville into a smoke-free town. It is impossible to do that because this is the United States of America.
Secondly, making cigarettes cost more will have no effect on under-age smokers not being able to afford them. Believe me, if a young adult is going to smoke, they are going to smoke no matter how much they cost.
And last of all, people have a right to smoke, plain and simple. I think parents should talk to their children about not smoking, but people have the right to smoke.
