Three juveniles were arrested Wednesday evening after police received reports of objects thrown at vehicles from the roof of the Hub-Gilcher building on Third Street.
Officers Derek Robbins and Keith Addison found fluorescent bulbs and chunks of wood on Third Street near the building, and at 6 p.m. Third Street was closed for a search of the building and to clear the debris in the street. Robbins and Addison entered the building and found three juveniles hiding under a desk on the third floor. No accidents were reported as a result of the incident.
The three juveniles were arrested and charged with burglary, wanton endangerment, criminal mischief and criminal littering. They were lodged in the Laurel County Juvenile Detention Center.
