In reference to J.T. Underwood's letter, I certainly understand his frustration, but not voting is not the answer. Many of our problems today are because of low voter turnout - 20 percent, 22 percent, etc. We should all let our candidates know our feelings and what we expect from them if elected.
Get the voters to go to the polls. That's the first objective we have to accomplish. We have a free society in this great country, but if we don't go vote, we will lose that precious right. So J.T., I do understand but please reconsider, as all voters should do, go vote. All it would take to change how our politicians think and act is for 80 percent to show up at the polls just once.
