Wal-Mart of Danville will host a blood drive from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the CKBC Bloodmobile. Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in good general health.
The complete process takes less than an hour, with the actual donation of one pint lasting 10 minutes. All donors Tuesday will receive a free T-shirt.
The drive is being sponsored in conjunction with Central Kentucky Blood Center, which provides blood to 65 hospitals in 61 counties. Blood from the drive will be used at area hospitals.
