I am an angry Vietnam Veteran who can remain silent no longer. John Kerry does not, nor ever did, represent Vietnam veterans. Kerry spoke out in 1971 wanting to distance himself from any part of the war effort because he thought that was politically correct and would gain him recognition. It did! The Vietnam veterans recognized him as a traitor. Now he wants to use his Vietnam experiences as something special because it is now politically correct to be recognized as a military and/or Vietnam veteran.
Calling him a "war hero" is a stretch, since hundreds of young American soldiers can match or exceed his war accomplishments (I have nine awards myself). We were proud to serve our country and wore the uniforms as true patriots. Kerry's actions of throwing the war medals over the White House fence and posing for an anti-war photo with the American flag displayed upside down are of super-traitor status.
