There's a chance that Danville and Boyle County will play at Applebee's Park in Lexington this season.
Danville coach Paul Morse said the Lexington Legends have contacted both schools about the possibility of playing the game at Applebee's Park, which began hosting some regular-season high school games last season.
He said that remains a possibility, but the game date would have to be moved because the current date, April 27, conflicts with a Legends home game. He said the schools were also asked about the possibility of playing separate games at the minor league park in a doubleheader that would also include Lexington Catholic and Lexington Christian.
Boyle coach David Camic said that is the more likely scenario. He said Legends officials have talked to him about playing one of the two games he has scheduled with Lexington Catholic at Applebee's Park, with Danville playing Lexington Christian in the other half of the doubleheader.
