A power outage this morning left about 850 customers from western Danville to Perryville without electricity.
Kentucky Utilities crews were dispatched to the scene of a broken transmission line between Danville and Perryville, according to KU spokesman Cliff Feltham. "We thought it would be a relatively quick repair, but the crews found another problem," he said. "We're estimating repairs will be made by noon."
A clerk at Perryville City Hall said it appeared the outage affected most, if not all, of the city. The remainder of the customers affected were along Perryville Road.
