Church plans trip to see Passion Play

St. James AME Church will take a trip April 10 to see "The Passion Play, The Death and Resurrection of Jesus" in Indianapolis, Ind.

The $45 fee includes transportation and admission to the play.

The bus will leave St. James church parking lot at 6 a.m. for the 11 a.m. performance, and return to Danville at 6 p.m.

Danville schools will release early Friday

The fifth early release day for Danville schools will be Friday. Classes at Toliver, Jennie Rogers and Hogsett elementary schools and Bate Middle School will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m. while classes at Danville High School will be dismissed at noon.


Lunch will be provided to all students prior to dismissal except at Danville High School where breakfast will be the only meal provided for the day. Bus transportation will be provided for all students.

McKinney to hold community meeting

MCKINNEY - A community meeting will be held 7 p.m. Thursday in the old McKinney gym to discuss McKinney Station Days.

The caboose is available for rent. Anyone interested in submitting a bid may sent it to Box 202, McKinney, Ky. 40448.

BCHS to perform "Bus Stop"

Boyle County High School students will perform "Bus Stop" by William Inge at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $3 and can be bought at the door.
