Bradford E. Dean

LIBERTY- Bradford "Brad" Eugene Dean, 40, of Munfordville, formerly of Liberty, died Saturday in Franklin.

Born Sept. 1, 1963, in Fayette County, he was the son of Phillip Dean of Liberty and Berda Taylor Stewart, and the stepson of Christine Dean of Liberty and Gene Stewart. He was principal of Great Onyx Job Corp at Mammoth Cave, an Army veteran of the Gulf War, a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Other survivors include his wife, Karen J. Line Dean; a daughter, Lauren Dean of Munfordville; a brother, Anthony Dean of Liberty; and a sister, Beckay Becker of Georgetown.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by John Routh, John Paul Cummins and Dwight Coffman. Burial will be in Peavey Cemetery.


Pallbearers are Mark, Daniel, Troy and Gary Becker, Dale Line, and Adam, Phillip and Anthony Dean.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Herbert L. Fansler

STANFORD - Herbert Leroy Fansler, 76, of Stanford, died Thursday in Lincoln County.

Born Dec. 27, 1927, in Kansas City, Mo., he was the son of the late Herbert L. and Ruth Fansler. He was an engineer in Jacksonville, Fla., for 40 years.

Survivors include a son, Jack Fansler of Stanford; a brother, Bob Fansler of Kansas City; four stepdaughters; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.


William P. Mitchell

PERRYVILLE - Services for William Purdom Mitchell, 74, of Mitchellsburg, are 2 p.m. today at Wilder Funeral Home by the Revs. Curtis Allen and Pat Chamberlain. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

He died Saturday at his home.

Pallbearers will be Steve, James and Harold Mitchell, Ray Price, Paul Pelley, Carl Leffew, Elmer Dowell and Julian Moore.
