Crab Orchard to hold Poker Run

CRAB ORCHARD - The Crab Orchard Community Association will hold its first annual Poker Run June 12. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., pull out is at 1 p.m.

Proceeds to go to the Crab Orchard Community Association and the Crab Orchard Fourth of July Homecoming Celebration Committee.

Danville report cards now posted on Web

District and school report cards for the Danville schools are now posted on the district Web site at The report cards can be accessed by selecting the "District Info" tab at the top of the page, then selecting "District Report Cards" from the menu on the upper left side of the following page. There also is a link for each school on the right side of the home page.


The School Report Card can be accessed by selecting the "Info" tab when the school Web site is displayed. Copies of the individual School Report Cards, using various data from 2002-03 and the current school year, have also been mailed to parents of students in the Danville schools.

Questions or comments about the school or district report cards should be directed to the school offices or to David R. Davis, director of administrative services, at the district office (859) 238-1300.

Names omitted from the Bate Middle School honor roll list are: Sixth grade: Louis Beto, and eighth grade: Xerces Simpson, both A-B honor roll.
