Boyle County Conservation District

Dead animal removal services are free to Boyle County residents by calling Nation Brothers at 1-800 633-5677 between 6 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call before noon on Friday to guarantee pick-up that day. Using this free service allows landowners to comply with the state Agriculture Water Quality Act section dealing with livestock.

Nation Brothers requires people to move the animal to the front of the farm, away from the other livestock and to have the animal near a road or hard surface. These measures are to protect animals from the spread of disease and from preventing the trucks from tearing up fields.

Nation Brothers will pick-up most types of animal except sheep, small wild animals, dogs and cats. The service is provided to Boyle County residents with funds from the Boyle County Fiscal Court and the state ag department.
