Holy Week services set

Holy Week services scheduled this week at Trinity Episcopal Church, Main Street, include:

Thursday: Maundy Thursday services, 7 p.m.

Friday: Good Friday, "Prayer and Meditation on a Road to Jerusalem," delivered by Aubrey "Buddy" Edwards, noon-1 p.m.

Sunday: Easter, one service, 10 a.m.; no Sunday School.

Good Friday services planned

HARRODSBURG - St. Peter AME Church, will hold Good Friday services 7 p.m. Friday with "The Seven Last Words from the Cross."

Willie Newby, First Baptist Church, Perryville.

Emergency response class set

Classes to start and teach a community emergency response team will be 8 a.m. April 17-18. The class is 24 hours of instruction and is organized under Kentucky Emergency Management as part of the Homeland Defense Act.

The classes are hosted by the Danville Fire Department and Boyle County Health Department. The class can qualify students to be emergency response team instructors. To register, call Danville Fire Department Deputy Chief Woody Ball at (859) 238-1247 or Rusty Cox, health department, at (859) 236-2053.

Meeting canceled

LIBERTY - Casey Fiscal Court canceled its regular meeting Monday night.
