PERRYVILLE - Alice Burke White, 69, of Perryville, died Monday at her home.
Born May 23, 1934, in Virgie, she was the daughter of the late Barclay and Nola Newsome Burke. She was a member of Perryville Christian Church and a former member of Ephraim McDowell Memorial Hospital auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Marion F. White; a son, Michael B. White of New York; a daughter, Suzanne C. White of New York; a sister, Billie Sue Cline of Pikeville; and a brother, John M. Burke of Salt Lake City.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Wilder Funeral Home. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday.

LIBERTY - George Elliott, 91, of Liberty, died Monday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Feb. 17, 1913, in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late William and Lucy Taylor Elliott. He was a retired civil engineer for the state Department of Transportation. He also was a former board member of Great Financial Federal Savings and Loan.
Survivors include three daughters, Susan Hoskins of Liberty, Ann Hutchcraft of Paris and Bobbie Bryan of Birmingham, Ala.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Bartle Funeral Home by the Rev. Homer Hecht. Burial will be in Middleburg Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joe, George and Johnny Elliott, Elliott Hutchcraft, Jim Coffey and J.O. Wilkerson. Honorary pallbearers are John G. Elliott and Roger Elliott.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday.

LIBERTY - Jessie Louise Polsgrove, 93, of Allen Street, died Sunday at Pine Meadow Nursing Facility in Lexington.
Born July 2, 1910, in Graves County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Sara Foster McClure. She was a homemaker, a member of West Side Christian Church and the widow of Doyle Polsgrove.
Survivors include two sons, Dee Lewis Polsgrove of Napa, Calif., and Danny Polsgrove of Lexington; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Marty Shakelford. Burial will be in Casey County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday.

BRODHEAD - Ida M. Whitson, 79, of Brodhead, died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.
Born Nov. 16, 1924, in Sand Springs, she was the daughter of the late J. Walter and Delia C. Bullock Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of McNew Baptist Church. She was the widow of Lowell Whitson and Walter Bullock.
Survivors include four sons, Dave Bullock of Williamsburg, Va., Herb Bullock of Lancaster, Donald N. Bullock of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Carl Bullock of Brodhead; a brother, Walter Miller Jr. of Brodhead; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals by Eugene Gentry. Burial will be in McKinney Cemetery, Blue Springs.

Born March 21, 1921, in Boyle County, she was the daughter of the late Elcie and Ruth Kinney Patterson. She was a homemaker and a member of Cave Hill Baptist Church in Jessamine County. She was the widow of the late Rev. Jesse C. Doolin.
