Fashion show, luncheon set by Chamber

A women's fashion show and luncheon are scheduled for 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday.

Hosted by the Danville/Boyle County Chamber of Commerce Women in Business committee and sponsored by Wal-Mart, it will be held at the Danville Country Club.

The cost is $10 per person, with reservations and payment required by 4 p.m. today. The Chamber office is located at 304 S. Fourth St. Tables may be reserved and purchased, as well. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Eleven stores displaying the latest in business and casual fashions will participate.

The Chamber will also recognize the Administrative Professional of the Year.

Relay for Life plans event

JUNCTION CITY - A benefit for the Relay for Life fund-raiser will be held 10 a.m. until dark Saturday at War Zone PaintBall, South Lucas Street. Equipment rental packages will be available. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.
