LANCASTER - Ruth Daniel Black Sebastian, 79, Danville Street, Lancaster, died Wednesday at Fort Logan Hospital, Stanford.
Born March 6, 1925, in Garrard County, she wa a daughter of the late Daniel and Willlie Mae Grimes Black. She was a retired employee of Palm Beach Co., and was a member of Lancster Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Loyd Sebastian; and one sister, Iona Dillon of Lancaster.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Rev. Bryce McGowan. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Durham, Ralph Sebastian, Paul Black, William R. Hicks, Delbert Eason and James Earl Ross.
Visitation is 5-9:30 p.m. today at Ramsey Funeral Home.
HARRODSBURG - George Bradley Long, 91, of Salvisa, died Thursday at the Corbin Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
Born April 5, 1913, in Woodford County, he was the son of the late George and Vicie Hellard Long. He was a retired from the bridge gang for Southern Railroad. He was the widower of Jessie Norton Long.
Survivors include three sons, Jess Long of Corbin, David Long of London and Boyd Long of Washington County; three daughters, Arnetta Hendren of Louisville, Betty Barnes of Mercer County and Norene Baker of Harrodsburg; a sister, Juanita Baxter of Leitchfield; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Cleo Goodlett and John Hockersmith. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jerry and Dennis Wayne, Glen Norton, and James, Billy and Tommy Baxter.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today and after 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

Zelma Brown Reed
HARRODSBURG - Zelma Brown Reed, 90, of Harrodsburg, died Thursday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born March 24, 1914, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Susie Kidwell Brown. She was the widow of Maurice W. Reed. She was a retired beautician and a member of Harrodsburg Christian Church, where she was a former Sunday School teacher.
Survivors include a step-son, John "Skeeter" Reed of Harrodsburg; a daughter, Elaine Settle of Harrodsburg; a sister, Mrs. H.F. Parker of Louisville; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Don Chase and Terry Morrison.
Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Russell Cox, Franklin "Frankie" Reed, Billy Fredrick, Carter Cox, Dr. Rick Dartt and Stephen Reed.

LIBERTY - Dayton Walls, 74, of Yosemite, died Thursday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Nov. 26, 1929, in Casey County, he was the son of the late Gabriel and Margaret Carmen Walls. He was a retired truck driver and a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was the widower of Maxine Earles Walls.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Walls of Yosemite and Tony Walls of Cincinnati; two brothers, Oren Walls of Detroit and James Walls of Tucson, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by the Rev. Greg Powell.
Burial will be in South Fork Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today.
Services for Christine Gregory, 87, of South Third Street, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by Odis Clark. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.

Born May 8, 1916, in Burnside, she was a homemaker and a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. She was the widow of Toleman Gregory.
Survivors include a daughter, Shelby Crawford of Danville; two sons, Gil Gregory of Danville and David Gregory of Vienna, Va.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Byron and Stephen Crawford, Matthew Singleton, Ben LaRue, Butch Taylor and David Gregory Jr.

CRAB ORCHARD - Services for Pauline Harris Smith, 67, of Crab Orchard, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel by Dan Gutenson. Burial will be in Crab Orchard Cemetery.
She died Wednesday at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford.
Born May 18, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Rachel Bennett Harris. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Smith and a member of the Watts Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Carter of Crab Orchard; three sons, Kenneth E. Smith Jr., Ronnie J. Smith and Randy Smith, all of Crab Orchard; three brothers, Gobel Harris, Eugene Harris and Jesse Harris, all of Crab Orchard; a sister, Linda Baker of Lancaster; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death a son, Bill Smith.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Carter, Jim Smith, Frankie Harris, Mike Watkins, Ken Smith and Matt Holden.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today.
