Phillip Arndt rallied for a 3-6, 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 1 over Jerome Lewis, who was seeded third in last year's regional tournament. Will Stevens won in straight sets at No. 2, and Corey Horn won 8-0 at No. 4.
In doubles, Stevens and Marcus Hubbard won 8-0 as Berea's team defaulted, and Horn and Brandon McGlone won 8-0 at No. 2.
All four of Garrard's victories have come by 8-1 scores.
