Ella B. Coffey

STANFORD - Ella B. Coffey, 97, of Stanford, died today at Stanford House Nursing Home. Arrangements are incomplete at Spurlin Funeral Home.

Ruth K. Davis

HARRODSBURG - Ruth Kurtz Davis, 90, widow of A.B. Davis, died today at Harrodsburg Health Care Center. Arrangements are incomplete at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

Jeannette B. Moore

VERSAILLES - Jeannette "Punky" Brandenburg Moore, 53, of Versailles, died April 15.

Born in Woodford County, she was the daughter of the late Cord Brandenburg and Wilhelmina Razor. She was a registered nurse at Bluegrass Community Hospital in Woodford County. She was a member of St. Andrews Anglican Church.


Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Mattingly of Danville and Jennifer Smith of Lawrenceburg; a son, Stephen Moore of Versailles; two sisters, Jewell Brandenburg and Lisa Nichols, both of Versailles; a brother, William Brandenburg of Versailles; and four grandchildren.

Services were Monday at Versailles United Methodist Church by the Rev. David Brennen. Burial was in Rose Crest Cemetery.

Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may go to Hospice of the Bluegrass.


Marjorie J. Neal

HARRODSBURG - Services for Marjorie Jean Neal, 68, of Harrodsburg Health Care Manor, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Jack Geurin. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery.

She died Tuesday.

Born July 1, 1936, in Woodford County, she was the daughter of the late Dudley and Louise Martin Wilkins. She was a retired housekeeper at Harrodsburg Health Care Center.

Survivors include a son, Charles E. Neal of Lexington; two daughters, Nancy Huff of Lexington and Tommie Gilvin of Salvisa; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Wesley, Chad and Josh Gilvin,Dustin Keeling, Jason Devine and Matt Horn.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and after 7:30 a.m. Friday.
