Fannie L. Milburn Bottom

PERRYVILLE - Fannie Lou Milburn Bottom, 80, of Perryville, died Friday in Danville.

Born March 6, 1924, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mattie Reynolds Milburn. She was the widow of Ray Bottom.

She and her husband owned and operated the Viaduct Grocery in Danville. She was a private-duty sitter, a receptionist at Wilder Funeral Home and at Helm and Reynolds Realty. She was a member of Salt River Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Bottom of Danville, Harvey Bottom and Ronnie Bottom, both of Perryville; three sisters, Elizabeth Masters of Springfield, Shirley Monhollon of Louisville and Sue Howard of Erlanger; two brothers, Thomas Milburn Jr. of Louisville and Alben Milburn of Indiana; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.


Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Wilder Funeral Home by the Revs. Bob Milburn and Bob Bausum. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Bottom Jr., Scott Bottom, Ronnie Bottom Jr. Ted Hodge, Scott Preston, Duane Bell and Greg Wilson.

Honorary bearers will be great-grandsons and great-granddaughters.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at the Funeral Home.

Johnny Hamilton

PERRYVILLE - Johnny Burton Hamilton, 79, of Louisville, formerly of Mitchellsburg, died Tuesday in Louisville.

Born March 26, 1925, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late Samuel W. and Belle Briscoe Hamilton. He was a retired electrician from L&N Railroad and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mattie Compton Hamilton of Louisville; and one sister, Mary Jane Burger of Parksville.

Services were Friday in Louisville.

Beverly Brown

LIBERTY - Services for Beverly Brown, 49, of Elkhorn, will be 2 p.m. today at Bartle Funeral Home by the Rev. Jeff Edwards and Steven Willingham. Burial will be in Tapscott Cemetery.

She died Friday at her residence.

Born Sept. 4, 1954, in Martinsville, Ind., she was the daughter of Marvin and Patricia Cochran Lee. She was a registered nurse.

Survivors include her husband, Willie Brown; a daughter, Jennifer Payton of Goose Creek, S.C.; a son, Timothy Lee of Science Hill; a sister, Elaine Ford of Liberty; two brothers, Wayne Lee of Liberty and Jeff Lee of Windsor; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home.
