Danville High School students won two awards April 21 at the Kentucky High School Journalism Association's state convention in Louisville.
Nearly 800 students, teachers and advisers attended the two-day event, with competition featuring high school print and broadcast journalism programs from across Kentucky. The competition is divided into three classes based on enrollment: A, AA and AAA.
Danville High School won second place in general excellence in the newspaper division for Class A and tied for third place in the yearbook division.
KHSJA is jointly sponsored by the Kentucky Press Association and Kentucky Broadcasters Association.
