George T. Alcorn

George T. Alcorn, 79, of Crab Orchard, died Tuesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born Dec. 29, 1924, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late John A. and Addie P. Alcorn. He was a retired employee of American Greetings Co., a deacon of First Baptist Church in Crab Orchard, a 1942 graduate of Lincoln County High School and a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a son, Charles Alcorn of Lancaster; two daughters, Beverly Brown of Acworth, Ga., and Vernia Hawes of Columbus, Ga.; three brothers, John A. Alcorn of Lexington, Ralph Alcorn of Indianapolis and James L. Alcorn of Stanford; a sister, Marie Bates of Indianapolis; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Services will be noon Saturday at Crab Orchard First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Crab Orchard Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday.

Darrell Barrett

STANFORD - Darrell Barrett, 57, of Stanford, died today at Fort Logan Hospital. He was the husband of Wanda Barrett. Arrangements are incomplete at Fox Funeral Home.


Montie B. Claunch

HARRODSBURG - Montie Burton Claunch, 48, of Talmage-Mayo Road, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Claunch, died Tuesday at his home. Arrangements are incomplete at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.

Bobby Dennis

HARRODSBURG - Bobby Dennis, 52, of Perryville, died Tuesday in Danville.

Born Oct. 4, 1951, in Louisville, he was the son of JoAnn Isham Dennis of Harrodsburg and the late Herbert Dennis Jr. He was a salesman and a musician.

Other survivors include a son, Robert A. Dennis of Danville; three brothers, Steven W. Dennis and Douglas Dennis, both of Harrodsburg, and Mark Dennis of Lexington; and three sisters, Janet Hardin and Sandy Coffman, both of Lexington, and Pam Kendrick of Duncan. He was preceded in death by a son, Joey Dennis.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home. Burial will be in Peters Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steve Darland, Tony Hatfield, Mike Hawes, Dennis Sallee, Mick Caudell and Freddie Warner. Honorary pallbearers are Chip Hartman, Josh Vaughn, Bruce Swope and Scott Lewis.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday and after 7 a.m. Friday.

Temple D. Dunn

STANFORD - Temple Dowden Dunn, 87, of Arlington, Va., died Monday in Arlington. Arrangements are incomplete at Fox Funeral Home.

Grace D. Horn

HARRODSBURG - Grace Dohoney Horn, 85, of Lexington, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Tuesday at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.

Born Feb. 26, 1919, in Perryville, she was the daughter of the late Robert G. and Octavia Dohoney. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Lexington. She was the widow of William R. Horn Sr.

Survivors include a son, W.R. "Bill" Horn Jr. of Lexington; three grandchildren; and four great-granddaughters.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday and after 7:30 a.m. Friday.

Leonard R. Prather

HARRODSBURG - Leonard R. Prather, 92, of Louisville Road, died Monday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.

Born March 10, 1912, in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Daniel and Flora Merrick Prather. He was a retired farmer and a member of Salvisa Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Lee Prather and Robert Prather, both of Harrodsburg, and Tim Prather of Liberty; a daughter, Pauline Tyler of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Clarice Brock of Mercer County and Velma Albertson of Lafayette, Ind.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildren; and a stepgreat-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two sons, Curtis and Joe Prather.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Jerel Coffey. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Don and Norman Barker, Russell and Darrell Brock, Bobby and Ernie Prather, Darrell Agee and Jeff Young.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and after 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

William J. Eubank

Services for William Jesse Eubank, 88, of Danville, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Bethel United Methodist Church in McMinnville by the Rev. Royce Martin. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.

He died Sunday at Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation.

Stith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Christine K. Webb

Services for Christine Kimberlin Webb, 90, of Cardinal Drive, will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Stith Funeral Home by the Rev. Jimmy Owens. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.

She died Monday at Samaritan Hospital.

Born March 11, 1914, in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Isaiah E. and Mary Estes Kimberlin. She was a homemaker, a member of Perryville United Methodist Church and the oldest member of Perryville Homemakers Club. She was a graduate of Parksville High School and the widow of Harvey Webb.
