Boyle County's Kris Harmon has decided to pursue a collegiate swimming career at Sewanee.
Harmon, who owns three school records at Boyle, is one of nine incoming freshmen for the Tigers. That group will double the size of Sewanee's swimming and diving team from last season.
"We are very happy to have Kris joining us," Sewanee coach Max Obermiller said. "Kris is definitely an athlete that will help us mature as a team and brings much quality in many events.
"Kris is perhaps one of the most versatile swimmers to come to Sewanee in the last 10 years and we are very fortunate to have him as well as very eager to see him perform. He is someone that will have a profound impact on our program now and for years to come and can bring us to the next level."
