Couple face endangerment charges

STANFORD - A husband and wife each face two charges of endangering the welfare of minors after cocaine and marijuana were allegedly discovered in their possession.

Kelly Martin, 36 and Wanda D. Martin, 33, of 460 Lincoln Trail, face multiple drug possession charges in addition to the two counts of endangerment.

According to police reports, a search warrant obtained by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office lead to the discovery of cocaine and marijuana. Lincoln County Sheriff Shelby Lakes said he couldn't verify the relationship of the minors to the Martins, but said Social Services personnel have been involved. Pending the ongoing investigation, Lakes said he couldn't comment further on the case.
