I wish to correct an error in an article in last Monday's edition of your paper.
In a piece about the stage production of the classic story of "Anne of Green Gables," it was stated that "old maid Marilla and her bachelor brother, Mathew, take her 'forever into their home called Green Gables,' a small farm on Prince Edward Island in Nova Scotia."
Prince Edward Island is one of the ten provinces of Canada. It is close to Nova Scotia, but it is definitely not in that province. That would be like saying Kentucky was in Tennessee!
Check your map or, better still, come and see for yourself. It is as beautiful as L.M.Montgomery described in her novels.
