Woman held on drug charges
HARRODSBURG - Marion Charlene Summers, 48, of Harrodstown Motor Inn Room 214, is being held in the Boyle County Detention Center on drug charges following her arrest May 13.
Members of the Harrodsburg Police Department were called to the motel to deal with a possible domestic dispute. When they arrived, they were told there were illegal drugs in Room 213. Summers said there were no illegal drugs except prescription medications and gave consent for officers to search the room, according to a police department press release.
During the search, officers found marijuana cigarettes, drug paraphernalia and what officers believe is methamphetamine. Summers remains in the Danville lockup on charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond is set at 10 percent of $7,000.
