LOUISVILLE - Sixty Kentucky high school seniors were chosen to receive scholarship grants from programs administered through the Kentucky Farm Bureau Education Foundation.
The recipients were selected from 496 applicants from throughout the state.
This is the 51st year that the Kentucky Farm Bureau Foundation has distributed college aid money to Kentucky students. A total of 620 students have received grants over the years.
Lee Ann Lynn of Mercer County High School received the $1,000 Mercer County Farm Bureau Scholarship. She plans to attend the University of Cincinnati, with a major in medical imaging technology. She is the daughter of Lee and Michelle Lynn of Harrodsburg.
Matthew Allen Anderson of Lincoln County High School received the $1,000 Kentucky Farm Bureau Education Foundation Scholarship. He plans to attend the University of Kentucky and major in agricultural economics.
