Jason C. Gibson

Jason Carl "Jack" Gibson, 61, of Paradise Camp Road, died Thursday. Arrangements are incomplete at Stith Funeral Home.

James L. Caudill

WAYNESBURG - James Lowell Caudill, 71, of Rocky Hollow Road, died Wednesday at Fort Logan Hospital.

Born Aug. 13, 1932, in Letcher County, he was the son of the late George M. and Dora A. Fields Caudill. He was a carpenter, farmer and Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Clarkson Caudill; three brothers, Beckham Caudill of Blackey, John Caudill of Ezel, and Ruben Caudill of Dayton, Ohio; and three sisters, Julia Powers of Kings Mountain, Rebexie Benton of Waynesburg and Ellen I. Bishop of Key Stone Heights, Fla.


Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home by Cecil Roundtree. Burial will be in Leach Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Saturday.

Ocolea McMann

STANFORD - Ocolea "Okie" McMann, 84, of U.S. 150 East, formerly of Highland, died Thursday at the home of her daughter.

Born Sept. 23, 1919, in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Delmer and Bertha Mae Bastin Adams. She was a homemaker, a member of Mount Moriah Christian Church and the widow of Clarence E. McMann.

Survivors include a son, Rodney Elkins of Miamisburg, Ohio; a daughter, Tammy M. Dean of Stanford; a sister, Alberta Jenkins of Kings Mountain; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Moriah Christian Church by John Lowry and Rob Cox. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Church Cemetery.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today at Fox Funeral Home and after 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.


Catherine Coffman

Services for Etta Catherine Coffman, 80, of Nichols Street, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home. A private burial will follow in Hustonville Cemetery.

She died Wednesday at home.

Born May 13, 1924, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late David T. and Sarah King Johnson. She was a retired licensed practical nurse.

Survivors include three daughters, Rita Porter of Charlotte, N.C., Sandra Bourne of St. Louis and Dottie Cooke of Danville; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Hood, Matt Bourne, Karen Thomas, Tom Cooke and Kimberly Major.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. Sunday.

Alta M. Robertson

WAYNESBURG - Services for Alta Marie Robertson, 88, of Somerset Road, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Locust Grove Baptist Church by John Dean, Vincent Carman and Mike Mullins. Burial will be in K.P. Hall Cemetery.

She died Tuesday at her home.

Pallbearers will be Dwight, Douglas and Dewayne Wahl, Jim and Patrick Helm and Bruce Mullins. Honorary pallbearers are Lilburn Foley, William Robertson, Dexter Wahl, J.C. Sowers, John Peek, S.D. Gooch, Vernon Carman and Keith Mullins.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home and after 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Clyde Young

STANFORD - Services for E. Clyde Young, 89, of Stanford, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Stanford Baptist Church by the Rev. Max Hester. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.

He died Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital East in Lexington.

Born April 23, 1915, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Lucien S. Young and Susie P. Mulinix. He was a Kentucky Utilities service manager in Stanford for 44 years, and a member of Stanford Baptist Church where he was deacon emeritus. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, having been stationed in Guam.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Young; a son, Bradley C. Young of Nicholasville; a daughter, Marsha Jackson of Louisville; a brother, Ollie Young of Danville; two sisters, Betty Metcalf of Lancaster and Mildred Gaffney of Berea; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers are deacons of Stanford Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Kernen, Jack Johnson, David Pettus, Glen Wiles, Gabe Gabriel, Brad Currey, Calvin Denham and T.D. Irvin.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today at Spurlin Funeral Home with Masonic rites at 7:30 p.m.
