Weddings for May 30

Kathy Marie Johnson and Craig Alan Marston were married May 1 at Lexington Avenue Baptist Church by the Rev. Tommy Valentine.

Debbie Johnson of Paris served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Alisha Hollar and Aisha Sanderson, both of Paris.

Mikal Marston of Danville, son of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Joey Wilson and Jamie Wilson, both of Paris. Joshua Marston of Atlanta was ringbearer.

The bride is the daughter of James and Roberta Johnson of Paris. She is a 1982 graduate of Paris High School and an account manager of CBS Personnel in Lexington.


The groom is the son of Donn and Kitty Marston of Harrodsburg. He is a 1984 graduate of Boyle County High School, attended Eastern Kentucky University and is self-employed.

They live in Danville.


DeShana Ford and Shannon Jennings were married on Saturday at First Christian Church by the Rev. Ronald Burns.

Tabitha Turner of Danville served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Monique Ford of Danville, Nedilla Kinnon of Lexington, Porsha Keene of Springfield and Nikki Edelen of Springfield. The flowergirls were Keyianna Macklin, Jada Jennings and Delerian Brady, all of Lexington.

Monzella Silverburg of Lexington served as the best man. Groomsmen were Dewayne Lewis, Marco Bradley and Eddie Segar, all of Lexington, and Lamont Ford of Danville. The ringbearer was Sachari Jennings of Lexington.

A reception was held at Danville Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of George Ford and Geneva Ford, both of Danville.

The groom is the son of James Jennings and Charlotte Taylor, both of Lexington.
