State police arrest Boyle County man

Roger King, of Ky. 37, was arrested Saturday at his home on Catholic Knob on two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.

King allegedly fired a couple of shots in the general vicinity of state police, according to Trooper Mike Rogers. King was arrested about 11 p.m. by Trooper Troy Trayner. Five state police units were on the scene.

State police went there to investigate a "shots-fired complaint" and check the welfare of his neighbors, according to Trooper Rogers.

King remains in Boyle County Detention Center, and bond had not been set.
