Brothers in Christ are offering a free program from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday at Kentucky School for the Deaf, where boys ages 12-18 can swim, play basketball or volleyball, and eat pizza.
Founded in 1998, the Danville-based organization includes men from different denominations whose mission statement is to “mentor to youth, further God’s kingdom and share Christ without apology,” said member Terry Stevens.
A devotion is part of the program, but this event is not just for those connected to a particular church, Stevens said.
“This is for young guys who just don’t have anything going in their lives on a Saturday night,” said Stevens. “It’s a good thing for them.”
