Weight loss classes offered
McDowell Wellness Center will offer a way to lose weight with its HMR Weight Management Program, a 12-week program that will help individuals lose weight and learn the skills to keep the weight off long term.
HMR is an intensive diet and lifestyle education program that teaches individuals how to eat properly and exercise to lose weight. It is a complete weight and health management program that provides decision-free dieting to participants.
Individuals may learn more about the program by attending a free orientation session at noon June 17, 24 and July 1 and 8, and at 5 p.m. June 21, 28, and July 5 and 12.
