I just had to write and say how glad I am to see that The Chambers has been renovated. I stop on Third Street to wait on the light at Third and Lexington Avenue. I used to look forward to seeing what decoration would be out, as the owner back then changed adornments with the seasons. Since motorists are stopped so long for the light, it was fun to admire the various trimmings. Then the decorations were gone and the house became dull and nondescript.
I was happy to see the deep red brightening up the brick, and again the house and yard had personality. What a wonderful change! Good luck to the owners of the new bed and breakfast!
