Cookout to benefit Relay for Life

A cookout is planned 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday to raise money for the 2005 Relay for Life. PBK Bank, 1001 Hustonville Road, will host the lunch. Box lunches include a chili or hot dog, chips, brownie and drink. Homemade chili also will be available.

Belcher-Lockhart reunion is Sunday

The Belcher-Lockhart family reunion will begin noon Sunday at Lockhart Mountain, off Ky. 300, west of Junction City, for a potluck meal. Descendants of J.P. and Eliza Lockhart and others are welcome. For more information call 236-4936.

Bryant-Adams reunion set

LIBERTY - The Bryant-Adams family reunion is scheduled 1 p.m. July 4 at Grove Ridge Baptist Church on Ky. 501 in Casey County. A potluck meal will be served.



Non-perishable items for Boyle County Fair's Floral Hall will be accepted 2-4 p.m. July 18. Due to a reporter's error, the date was incorrect in a news brief Wednesday.
