Ida T. Webster

Ida Trubshaw Webster, 86, of Danville, died Wednesday at Central Baptist Hospital. Arrangements are incomplete at Stith Funeral Home.

Elena Brooking

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Elena Estelle Brooking, 72, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Thursday in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Born Feb. 29, 1932, in Lafayette, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late George C. and Vada O. Davis Wilson.

Survivors include her husband, Richard A. "Dickie" Brooking; two sons, John W. Draughon III of Missouri City, Texas, and Philip E. Draughon of Keauhou, Hawaii; two daughters, Lara Fitzgerald of Ojo Caliente, N.M., and Patricia L. Bruce of Bloomington Springs, Tenn.; four sisters, Georgia C. Phelps, Joyce A. Edwards, Donna J. McCormick and Deborah E. Patterson, all of Tennessee; a brother, Paul D. Wilson of Dublin, Ohio; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.


Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Spring Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

HARRODSBURG - Mary Rose Bugg, 76, of Harrodsburg Health Care Center, died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.

Randolph Damron

STANFORD - Randolph Damron, 86, of Stanford, died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Jane Damron. Arrangements are incomplete at Spurlin Funeral Home.

Kathleen Fowler

HARRODSBURG - Kathleen Fowler, 83, of North College Street, died Wednesday at her home.

Born Jan. 21, 1921, in Nicholas County, she was the daughter of the late Forrest and Eliza Flynn Morris. She was former owner and operator of Fowler's Nursing Home in Harrodsburg.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Fowler; and nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation or services.

Memorials may go to Mercer County Humane Society, 896 Moberly Road, Harrodsburg; Mercer County Historical Society, 220 Chiles Street, Harrodsburg; or charity of one's choice.

Ransdell Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.


Elizabeth W. Cooper

STANFORD - Services for Elizabeth Wyler Cooper, 80, of Stanford, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Rev. Jerry Beck and Jim Reed. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.

She died Wednesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born Nov. 11, 1923, in Stanford, she was the daughter of the late Christian and Matilda Lademann Wyler. She was owner and operator of Stanford Fruit Market for 33 years, a member of Harris Memorial United Methodist Church and the widow of Benton Cooper.

Survivors include three sons, Earl Copper, Donald Lee Cooper and Gary "Buck" Cooper, all of Stanford; a brother, Rudolph "Buddy" Wyler of Stanford; three sisters, Ida Mae Gover of Stanford, Rose Carrier of Highland and Carolyn Helton of Fort Myers, Fla.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today.

Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice, 337 W. Broadway, Danville; or Harris Memorial United Methodist Church, 310 W. Main St., Stanford.
