Dear Editor:
Nancy Goode's letter about Jim Bunning and Mitch McConnell's votes should really come as no surprise.
Jim Bunning has been nothing but a pawn for special interest groups and a stooge for Mitch McConnell since his arrival in Washington. We all know how Mitch votes. He votes in favor of anything that can help the Bush administration deceive the American public, while claiming he is looking out for Kentuckians' interests.
Halliburton is making a fortune off the citizens of the United States and clearly the Bush administration isn't concerned. They have overcharged millions of dollars and the White House seems to think that this is okay. I wonder how many in the White House are benefiting from these overcharges.
Kentuckians have a choice this November. We can keep Jim Bunning in office and let him keep looking out for special interest groups and thick-walleted friends or we can show him that he is replaceable.
