HARRODSBURG Kim R. Harmon, 32, of 830 N. College St., Apartment 115, allegedly damaged a water cooler and air purifier in the pre-trial room at the Boyle County Detention Center Tuesday. Harmon was arrested by members of the Harrodsburg Police Department Tuesday morning and charged with violating an emergency protective order.
While officers were completing the paperwork on that charge, Harmon tried to destroy potential evidence at the Harrodsburg police station and a charge of tampering with physical evidence also was filed. Officer Tim Gambrel is investigating. He was assisted by Officer Harold Cunnagin.
After being taken to the Danville lockup, she caused more than $300 in damage to jail property and she was charged with first-degree criminal mischief, Lt. Melissa Adams said today. Bond has been set at $10,000 cash.
