Principals at Woodlawn Elementary and Boyle Middle School have accepted new positions for the upcoming school year.
Max Pope, principal at Woodlawn Elementary since 1993, has been named principal at Brockman Montessori Elementary School in Richland School District 1 of Columbia, S.C.
Prior to employment with Boyle, Pope was employed with Sampson County Schools in North Carolina as principal at Union Middle School from 1992-1993, principal at Clear Run Middle School from 1991-1992, and principal at Clement Elementary from 1987-1991. He was assistant principal at Stoneville Unit School with Rockinghem County Schools from 1985-1987.
Frank LaBoone, principal at Boyle County Middle School since 1997, will be principal at Johnson Elementary in Fayette County. LaBoone previously worked for the Fayette County system where he served seven years as assistant principal with Leestown Middle School and eight years as principal at Fayette School.
