One teenager was killed and two were flown to Lexington Sunday after their Jeep ran off of U.S. 127 and overturned on the outskirts of Liberty.
Kentucky State Police reported that the driver, David Holtman, 17, of Louisville was pronounced dead at the scene. Parker Faubush, 18, of Goshen, and Martin Galang, 16, of Prospect were both flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Holtman was driving north on U.S. 127 when he lost control of the Jeep, ran off the left shoulder of the road into a ditch, struck a culvert and overturned, according to a KSP Columbia Post press release. The accident happened at 6:50 p.m. Sunday.
