HARRODSBURG - Vincent B. Riley, 35, of 1125 Cole Lane died as a result of a single-vehicle accident in which he was the driver.
Riley was driving north on Cole Lane at about 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, when he lost control of his vehicle, according to an accident report from Kentucky State Police Trooper Troy Trayner. The vehicle ran off the left shoulder of the roadway and Riley overcorrected, crossing the road and going off the right shoulder. The vehicle struck a tree and came to rest there.
Riley was not wearing a seat belt, Trayner reported.
Three passengers, Chase Riley, Devan Riley and Jason Thompson received minor injuries, Trayner reported, and were taken to James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital where they were treated and released.
