Helen Reynolds

WAYNESBURG - Helen Reynolds, 81, of Lexington, died Wednesday in Lexington.

Born Nov. 9, 1923, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Dewey Houp and Anna Dishon. She was a homemaker and the widow of James W. Reynolds.

Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Reynolds of Lexington, LeRoy Reynolds of Waynesburg and Donald Reynolds of Wilmore; two brothers, Wesley Houp and Vernon Houp, both of Lexington; two sisters, Corrine Wood and Ruby Cassin, both of Lexington; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home by Kevin Patrick. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.


Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today.


Elma V. Davis

Graveside services for Elma Vera Davis, 83, of Danville will be 11 a.m. Friday at Bellevue Cemetery.

She died Tuesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born June 3, 1921, in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late George and Eva Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of Salvation Army Church.

Survivors include a brother, Harvey Davis of Las Vegas, Nev.; and a sister, Rose Burton of Stanford. She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Davis.

Visitation is after 10 a.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home.

Vincent Riley

HARRODSBURG - Services for Vincent Byron Riley, 35, of Cole Lane, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by the Revs. Kevin Milburn and Ray Coats. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

He died Tuesday in Mercer County.

Born Feb. 7, 1969, in Louisville, he was the son of Onderia L. Ripley Riley of Nicholasville and the late James B. Riley. He was a printing pressman at Southland Printing in Lexington and a self-employed home repairman. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and assistant troop leader of Boy Scout Troop 68.

Other survivors include his wife, Devauna Prather Riley; two sons, Chase B. and Devon M. Riley, both of Mercer County; grandparents, Mildred Ripley and Hazel and Tommy Vinning, all of Lawrenceburg; and a sister, Lea L. Klovski of Jackson, Mich.

Pallbearers will be Mark Ripley, Scott Brown, Jamie Broce, Tony Thompson, Dave Klovski and Doug Eades. Honorary pallbearers are members of Boy Scout Troop 68.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and after 7 a.m. Friday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

Acey E. Turner

STANFORD - Services for Acey Eugene Turner, 73, of Stanford, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Rev. Thomas King. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.

He died Wednesday at Central Baptist Hospital.

Additional survivors include five brothers and six sisters.

Pallbearers are Jerry and John Manning, Charles Trent, Troy Johnson and T.C. Propes Jr. Honorary pallbearers are James and Guy Coontz, Larry and Mark Turner Jr., and Darryl Roark.

Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today.
