Weddings for July 18

Jana M. McQuerry and Steven S. Bailey were married July 31 at Berea College's Danforth Chapel by Jim Still Wagoner.

Bridesmaids were Cheryl Blanton of Crab Orchard, Shafika McQuerry of Lancaster, Marisa Fitzgerald of Lexington and Shonna Bailey of Berea. Summer Lykins of Berea, Emery Bertram of Stanford and Madelyn McQuerry of Lancaster were flowergirls.

Groomsmen were Bobby Moore of Nashville, Tenn., Clint McQuerry of Lancaster, Steve Blankenship of Lexington and Mike Manning of Cookeville, Tenn.

After a reception at the Russell Acton Folk Center in Berea, the couple took a cruise in the Western Caribbean.

McQuerry is the daughter of Claire Gaskin and Jerry McQuerry, both of Lancaster. She is a 1996 graduate of Lincoln County High School, a 2000 Berea College Graduate and is employed by Eastern Kentucky University.


Bailey is the son of Phyllis Bailey of Richmond and Calvin Bailey of Berea. He is a 1994 Madison Southern High School graduate, is currently enrolled at EKU and is employed by Telford YMCA in Richmond.

They live in Richmond.


Brooke Anne Stredwick and Michael Wade Stone were married May 29 at Southland Christian Church in Nicholasville by Monte Wilkinson.

Heather Rice of Allen, Texas, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Angela Hopper of Midland, Texas, Annie Mendrala of Austin, Texas, and Eileen Bietz of Nicholasville. Alexis Ham of Irvine and Cassidy Bietz of Nicholasville were flowergirls.

Matthew Hall of Irvine served as best man. Groomsmen were James Oster of Danville, Shane Eldridge of Crab Orchard, Brian Bietz of Nicholasville and James Ellison of Las Vegas, Nev. Jacob Ellison of Las Vegas was ringbearer.

After a reception at the church, the couple took a trip to Nassau, Bahamas.

Stredwick is the daughter of Delores Stredwick of Dallas, Texas, and the late Marlan Stredwick. She is a 1993 graduate of Lakeview High School, a graduate of Richland College and is a staffing specialist for Nesco Resource.

Stone is the son of Mary Etta Stone of Danville. He is a 1986 graduate of Boyle County High School, a 1991 graduate of the University of Kentucky and is employed as a production scheduler for DecoArt. He is a member of Kappa Kappa Psi.

They live in Crab Orchard.


Kasey Allison Currens and Aaron Cole Satterly were married June 12 at the Burgin Baptist Church by Harold S. Burks.

Laura Lee Long of Harrodsburg, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor, and Jessica Stevens of Harrodsburg served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were LeeWood Pugh, Jessica Kendrick, Meghan McGinnis and Kristyna Coslow, all of Harrodsburg, and Lyndsey Brinegar of Lexington. Kharley McGinnis of Harrodsburg was flowergirl.

Jeff West of Lawrenceburg was best man. Groomsmen were Tim Rogers and Clay Westerfield and Larry Cox, all of Harrodsburg, Jason Satterly, brother of the groom, Chris Ford and Jackie Lynn Sutherland, Carlton Hatton and Christopher Robinson, all of Lawrenceburg, Brian Aldridge of Danville and Jason Brinegar of Lexington. Izaiah Satterly and Dakota West, both of Lawrenceburg, were ringbearers.

After a reception at Lion Park Community Center in Harrodsburg, the couple took a trip to Indiana.

Currens is the daughter of Barry and Cheryl Currens of Harrodsburg. She is a 2001 graduate of Mercer County High School, a 2004 graduate of Central Kentucky Technical College and is employed by Donaldson Co. in Nicholasville.

Satterly is the son of Darrell and Linda Satterly of Lawrenceburg. He is a 2000 graduate of Anderson County High School and is employed by Quebecor World in Versailles.

They live in Harrodsburg.
