Fritz, an adult Pomeranian-American eskimo mix, is among the animals available for adoption at the Danville-Boyle County Humane Society Animal Shelter.
Other canines available include an adult Cattahoola mix male, a sweet and vivacious Lab mix named Katie and the following puppies: a wire-haired terrier named Rags, two precious hound-Lab mixes named Ozzie and Harriet, black Lab mixes, beagle mixes and setter mixes.
There also are several kittens and cats, including one adult male named Storm who has already been neutered.

The shelter is located on Hwy. 127 bypass next to the fairgrounds. It is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Adoption fee is $60 and includes spay/neuter surgery, de-worming and first vaccinations (including rabies). It also includes a feline leukemia test for cats.
